The brilliance of parrot shrieks and bird calls can fill the air in many streets on sunny days when you take a walk. the great towers of gum are home to the galahs and cockatoos whom exhibit playful Australian mannerisms and behaviours. The joy is not only limited to the big anchor trees, you can hear the rosellas and honeyeaters playing in the smaller callistemons [bottlebrushes] planted as street trees.
